The “Tunnel of Love” in Ukraine

Wow!!! Look at how incredible this is!!! As soon as I saw this image, I had to start reading up on it and looking up its background, history e.t.c.

Firstly, for those of us who enjoy travelling and will make it our aim (NAY, our mission!) in life to go and see this, it is located in the city of Клевань in western Ukraine. 

Apparently the tunnel is very popular among lovers who like to make a wish and kiss there. If the love is sincere, then the wish will come true. Quoting from Gentside:

Le Tunnel of Love ukrainien est en réalité une section de chemin de fer d’un kilomètre de long. Lors du printemps, les arbres qui bordent les rails dorment une arcade verdoyante au-dessus de la voie. Au fil des saisons, l’aspect et les couleurs se déclinent pour tirer vers les teintes automnales particulièrement prisées des amoureux de la nature.
